Man shot, killed on Jacksonville's Southside

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office, an individual was shot inside a residence located in the 9700 block of Tapestry Park Circle on Jacksonville’s Southside. Sergeant Robbie Hanson from the Homicide Unit reported that police responded to the shooting incident around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement discovered a man in his mid-20s with at least one gunshot wound. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department pronounced the man dead at the location.

The police have not disclosed the identity of the deceased man. Sergeant Hanson stated that there seems to be a connection between the victim and the shooter, and this incident is considered isolated. All individuals involved have been taken into custody and are currently undergoing questioning by the police.
